Welcome! I go by Kam.
How I fell in love with Travel…
When I was a kid, I’ll never forget the day my dad took me and my sisters to pick out an Astro van.
At the time, I just thought it was a cool new ride for my mom. Turns out, he got it so we could hit the road as a family—and we did. We drove all over the country: California, Portland, Florida, Kentucky, Louisiana, you name it…. we went.

After my father passed away suddenly in 2003, those road trips stopped.
But the itch to travel never left me. As a teenager, I was always looking for any excuse to hit the road—whether it was a quick drive to the beach, a trip up to Dallas, or heading out west to Austin or San Antonio. Anything to get moving and see something new.
Then, as a young adult, my cousin called out of the blue: his mom had bought me a ticket to join their cruise to the Yucatan. That trip was a turning point. It felt like I’d finally reconnected with that childhood dream of exploring the world.
Since then, travel has become a non-negotiable part of my life. For the last 12 years, I’ve been on the move almost every month—constantly adding new destinations across North and South America to my list.

You could say I’ve become an expert on travel throughout the Americas.
I love getting off the beaten path—ATV rides, hiking, swimming, snorkeling, and diving into everything the tropics have to offer. But what I love most is connecting with locals and chasing down real, authentic experiences.
I’ve learned a lot along the way—mostly good, sometimes tough. My goal is to pass along as much of that knowledge as I can, so you can make the most of your own adventures.
